DACHSER Mexico, a subsidiary of leading global logistics provider DACHSER, offers a cross-border trucking and customs clearance service that seamlessly connects its customers to DACHSER USA’s LCL service between China and U.S. west coast ports.
Introduced in February 2021 to address the congestion at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the LCL service from China to the U.S. reduces the transit time by 1-2 days and cuts dwell time down from 14-25 days to 3-7 days.
The cross-border trucking and customs clearance service includes picking up the customer’s cargo at either the Port of Long Beach or the Port of Los Angeles and transporting it by truck to Laredo, TX. Once at Nuevo Laredo, MX border site, DACHSER Mexico ensures cargo shipments are promptly transported by truck to be processed through customs at Mexico City International Airport, the next day. After clearing customs, DACHSER Mexico coordinates last-mile delivery to the shipment´s final destination in Mexico upon request from the customer.
