DACHSER expands air freight portfolio between Singapore and Frankfurt
DACHSER Singapore has expanded its service portfolio on the route between Singapore and Frankfurt to include a daily air freight service. Customers will benefit from secure capacity with a transit time of 72 hours, as well as access to the logistics provider's tight-knit European transport network from Frankfurt.
Singapore Airport is one of the largest airports in Asia and an important hub to Europe. Shipments arriving in Europe at the gateway in Frankfurt are fed into DACHSER's comprehensive European network there and distributed seamlessly to European destinations. High delivery frequencies enable fast and reliable transport of goods. The eLogistics online platform informs customers about all processes along the supply chain and provides real-time information for shipment tracking.
Sustainable option for lower greenhouse gas emissions possible
Air freight customers can choose the additional booking option "Sustainable Fuel." The service is offered on all routes worldwide for an additional charge. By blending "Sustainable Aviation Fuel," or "SAF," air freight shipments can be transported with 30 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions. To prove that the fuel has been purchased and that the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions can be credited to the carbon footprint, each customer receives an emissions report on request, as well as a certificate in the following year stating the emissions saved, the quantity of SAF liters used, the year of consumption, and the exact SAF raw material base.
Whether importing, exporting or optimizing supply chain processes, DACHSER's network ensures smooth processes and on-time deliveries for companies of all sizes. For air freight shipments, DACHSER offers its customers maximum process reliability through firmly defined processes as well as reliable transit times and capacities.
