DACHSER names Vincent Touya to head US Management Team

DACHSER has named Vincent Touya as Managing Director of its US based organization. Mr. Touya is from France and has been with the family-owned company for over 30 years.

Mr. Touya will join DACHSER at its US Regional Office in Atlanta on February 1, 2019 and succeeds Frank Guenzerodt, who had been with DACHSER for 14 years. Mr. Guenzerodt was in charge of transforming DACHSER USA from a small country organization into a key pillar of DACHSER’s global network.

Mr. Touya has been successful in expanding the air and sea freight business in France and North Africa and we look forward to his contributions in the US market.

Guido Gries, Managing Director of DACHSER’s Air and Sea Logistics Americas business unit will head the company in the interim. “Mr. Touya has been successful in expanding the air and sea freight business in France and North Africa and we look forward to his contributions in the US market,” said Mr. Gries.

Background

Prior to that assignment, Mr. Touya was also Head of Sales for DACHSER France’s overland transport organization. “With his thorough understanding of both business fields, he is well placed to develop and implement integrated, intercontinental supply chains for US customers,” noted Mr. Gries.
