DACHSER implements solution for economical driving
DACHSER is equipping its 200 vehicles in its own fleet in Germany with modern connectivity devices from ZF Friedrichshafen by the end of 2024. They enable drivers to optimize their driving style based on data, i.e. to drive more economically and thus also more environmentally friendly. In addition, DACHSER driver trainers train the company's own drivers and, in the medium term, those of its service partners to drive more efficiently.

Golden Week 2024 in China

DACHSER obtains TISAX® information security label
Following intensive preparation, DACHSER has obtained TISAX® Level 2 certification, meeting the automotive industry’s stringent IT security requirements. This internationally recognized standard for information security and data protection in the automotive industry is becoming increasingly important in protecting automotive supply chains against cyberattacks. TISAX stands for Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange.
DACHSER puts 15 electric trucks from Renault Trucks into operation on German roads
Renault Trucks and DACHSER are cooperating on the gradual decarbonization of road freight transport. In total, the logistics service provider is expanding its fleet by fifteen Renault Trucks vehicles. The all-electric trucks complete local and long-distance transport tours at seven DACHSER locations in Germany every weekday.
DACHSER USA expands branch locations in Miami and New York
In the first months of 2024, two branches of DACHSER in the United States have relocated to new facilities to meet the requirements of their current growth. The offices in Miami and New York are now situated in more strategic locations, in line with current customer and market needs.
DACHSER once again certified for pharmaceutical logistics
Independent auditors have once again certified DACHSER for the compliant transportation of life science and healthcare products. The branch in Shanghai is recertified according to IATA CEIV Pharma; the locations in Barcelona, Madrid, Mumbai, Frankfurt and the Head Office in Kempten, Germany, according to GDP (Good Distribution Practice).
Impact of Red Sea situation on market dynamics
The situation in the Red Sea is not improving in terms of vessel security. The Houthi rebels are expanding their targets in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, forcing ocean carriers to further adapt and change their network to keep crews and ships save. This situation has led to a wide range of service changes and increased transit times, primary on the trades Europe to and from Asia / India-Pakistan-Bangladesh-Ceylon (IPBC) as well as the Middle East.

Management change at DACHSER in Chile and Peru

New LCL services between Rotterdam and Asia
DACHSER's air and sea freight division is significantly expanding its services. This includes new LCL connections with fixed departure times between the port of Rotterdam, the largest seaport in Europe, and various ports in Asia.
